I am interested in African politics, identity politics, and development studies. My work adresses autochthony, politics, and armed conflict in Africa. I work at the intersection of identity, discourses, armed conflict dynamics, and security studies. More specifically, I am interested in the changing dynamics of armed violence in the Central African Republic, and its implications for identity construction.

My research was funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC), the federal research funding agency of Canada.

I authored several academic articles, one book chapter, and blogs. My work appeared in scientific journals such as International Studies Review, Islamic Africa, Africa Today, African Security, Revue Tiers Monde, African Identities and more

I am fluent in French and English.
